What is a Health Coach?

I get asked what a health coach is all the time. It’s relatively new here in Vancouver, but is a growing career within the already booming health industry. As a Health Coach, I work with individuals to find ways to help them make lifestyle changes to reach their health goals and feel the best the ever have.

Together, we tackle nutrition as the foundation, but also look at other elements of individual’s life/lifestyle that may be holding them back from reaching balance, health and happiness. 

I work with clients to set achievable, workable goals to make sustainable changes for the long-term. Together we navigate the confusion and contradictory world of nutrition to determine what will work for you and how to ensure it sticks! We work through a personalized program and explore issues and concerns every step of the way.

Clients are given meal plans and recipes specifically designed for them and their individual needs. Once the nutrition side is sorted out, we will look at your life and discuss action steps to make the changes sustainable in your everyday life. This includes tips for meal prep, how to fit nutrition into a busy schedule, stress management, adding in exercise, reframing your mindset around food, learning to fuel your body and soul, and more. As a health coach I’m here to support you on your journey and help you find what works best for you. Everyone’s version of a healthy life will be a little bit different. 

Ultimately clients end up with more energy, feeling lighter, brighter and clearer about their life and goals. Results include weight loss, a healthier mind and body, and a strong sense of balance, wellbeing and happiness.
